Natural blonde balayage at VEÍZU HAIR Frankfurt
In short

What is balayage?

Balayage is a freehand colouring technique where the colour is "painted" onto the hair, almost like with a brush (from the French "balayer", to sweep). The result is a soft, natural melt: lighter through the lengths and ends, subtle at the root. Today balayage is more than one technique, and depending on your hair and what you want, we combine different methods. For us, the result decides, not the technique.

Classic balayage

Painted on freehand, without foil: soft, natural transitions that grow out very discreetly. Ideal for a sun-kissed look that works every day.

Foilyage

Balayage placement, processed in foil. The foil holds the heat and lifts the hair further, perfect for darker hair or if you want more brightness and contrast without losing the soft melt.

Babylights & face framing

Ultra-fine highlights for a very delicate effect, and targeted brightening around the face (face framing or money piece) that makes your look fresher and brighter.

Why VEÍZU?

Blonde is our speciality, not a side line. Highlights and blonde shades are what our team is known for, and today our teams in Frankfurt and Friedberg do 30 to 40 balayages, foilyages and highlights every week. More than 1,000 clients have reviewed us on Google, with 4.9 to 5.0 stars.

Glossing & care

Colour that still looks great weeks later.

A good colour result doesn't end with the last brushstroke. We seal your balayage with a professional gloss for shine and depth, and strengthen the hair structure with high-quality care. Before you leave, we show you how to protect your colour at home.

FAQ

Good to know about balayage.

The key questions on timing, longevity and care, answered honestly.

How long does a balayage take?
Depending on your starting shade and hair length, a balayage with us takes about 3.5 to 4.5 hours, including consultation, colour, gloss and styling. We deliberately plan enough time so the result is right.
How long does a balayage last?
Balayage grows out naturally and, depending on the technique, lasts up to 4 to 6 months. In between, a gloss refreshes shine and tone.
Balayage or classic foil highlights: what's the difference?
Foil highlights start at the root and look more even, but the regrowth is more visible. Balayage is painted on freehand, starts further down and gives a softer, more natural melt that grows out far more discreetly.
What is foilyage, and how is it different from balayage?
Foilyage combines the soft balayage placement with foil. The foil holds the heat and lifts the hair further, ideal for darker hair or if you want more brightness and contrast without losing the natural melt.
Does balayage damage my hair?
Any lightening puts some strain on the hair. That's why we work with gentle products and a caring gloss from Kérastase, Redken and System Professional, and show you how to protect your colour at home.
How much does a balayage cost in Frankfurt?
A balayage at VEÍZU starts from €350 (Highlights Natural, about 3.5 hours). More complex or noticeably lighter results start from €400 to €450. Everything is included: consultation, lightening, gloss, plex treatment, care, cut and styling. If your hair length, the effort or the amount of colour adds to that, we discuss it in the consultation beforehand, so there are no surprises at the till. All details are in our price list.
Do you speak English?
Yes. All three salons speak English. Not every stylist is fluent, but there is always someone on the team who can help during your appointment.
