Which blonde suits you.

Blonde isn't just blonde. Which technique we use depends on how light you want to go, how often you'd like to come in and what your hair can take.

Foil highlights

Placed in foil, close to the root. The result is even and clearly lighter. The regrowth shows more, so you'd refresh after about three to four months.

Babylights

Ultra-fine strands you can hardly see one by one. For a soft, natural blonde that grows out quietly.

Foilyage

Applied in foil like foil highlights, but the strands are usually backcombed and shaded at the root. That way it grows out softer and looks more natural.

Balayage

Painted on freehand, with a soft blend towards the root. Grows out the least noticeably and needs the fewest appointments.

Lowlights

Darker strands woven into blonde. Useful when hair has become very solidly blonde over time and needs depth again.

Gloss

Doesn't lighten, it adds tone and shine. Neutralises a light yellow cast and refreshes your blonde between appointments.

Platinum & full bleach

We do it, but not at any cost. Very light blonde asks a lot of your hair. Whether it works for you, we'll tell you honestly in the consultation.

How we work

Healthy hair before any trend.

We don't just copy the photo you bring. First we take a close look at your hair and talk about how you live and how much aftercare is realistic for you. Then we decide how light it gets.

Not at any cost.

The health of your hair matters more to us than the result. That doesn't mean a weaker result. It means we tell you if a wish would be too much for your hair right now, and find a way with you that works.

Soft, not harsh.

The stronger the contrast to your natural shade, the harsher the regrowth. So we place the brightness in a way that still looks good at the root weeks later.

The consultation is included in every appointment. If you're still unsure, you can also book a separate consultation beforehand.

Corrections

When it went wrong somewhere else.

Again and again, clients come to us whose blonde didn't turn out as expected elsewhere. Usually it's one of these mistakes.

Gold and orange tones

The lightener wasn't left on long enough. The hair didn't get light enough, and the warm undertone stays visible.

Regrowth after four weeks

The wrong gloss lightens your natural shade along with everything else. As your hair grows, you see clear regrowth after only about four weeks.

Stripy and harsh

Very stripy results and harsh strands that don't blend into the hair. Often only really visible once the colour is a few weeks old.

What we do then

A light yellow cast we neutralise with a gloss. If it's already heading towards orange, we correct it with a lightening treatment. What your hair needs, we can tell after a look at it: via a photo on WhatsApp, briefly in the salon, or best in a separate consultation. The price depends on the work involved.

Good to know about blonde.

What clients ask us most about highlights, yellow tones and care.

How often do I need to refresh my highlights?
Foil highlights that should be light close to the root need refreshing after about three to four months. A balayage lasts four to six months or longer. Either way, an appointment after eight to ten weeks for a gloss, and a trim if needed, is worth it.
Highlights or balayage: which suits me better?
Foil highlights start at the root. You get more even and clearly lighter, but the regrowth shows more. A balayage is softer and needs fewer appointments. What suits you depends on how light you want to go and how often you'd like to come in. We work that out in the consultation.
What helps against yellow tones?
It depends on how strong they are. A light yellow cast is neutralised very well by a gloss, and at home a silver shampoo or a colour-refreshing mask can help. If the gold is stronger and heading towards orange, it needs to be corrected with a lightening treatment.
Do you do platinum blonde?
Yes, including full bleach and platinum. Very light blonde asks a lot of your hair, though. We do it if your hair can take it, and tell you honestly if it can't. The health of your hair comes first for us.
Can you fix blonde that went wrong at another salon?
Yes. Usually the lightener wasn't left on long enough, the wrong gloss was used, or the highlights turned out stripy and harsh. How much work the correction takes, we only see on the hair. Send us a photo on WhatsApp, drop by the salon, or best book a separate consultation.
Why do my blonde ends get darker over time?
Lightened hair is roughened and its structure is open, so it absorbs much more from outside: leftover silver shampoo, metals and limescale from tap water, dirt. A clarifying shampoo helps, but don't use it too often. A gloss after eight to ten weeks brings the tone back.
Why does blonde hair turn green in the pool?
In chlorinated water, traces of copper in the hair can oxidise, and oxidised copper is greenish. With lightened hair this happens much faster. What helps: dissolve two to three aspirin in a litre of water, shampoo your hair and leave the aspirin water on for 10 to 15 minutes.
How long does a blonde appointment take?
Depending on technique, hair length and starting shade, about 3.5 to 4.5 hours, including consultation, gloss, cut and styling. We deliberately plan enough time.
Do I need to book a separate consultation first?
No. The consultation is included in every appointment, and we take the time for it at the start. If you're still unsure or it's about a correction, you can book a separate consultation beforehand (€50, half of it is credited if you book the service straight away).
How much does blonde cost at VEÍZU in Frankfurt?
Highlights, foils and balayage start from €350 (Highlights Natural, about 3.5 hours). For noticeably lighter or more complex results, from €400 (Highlights Intensive) or from €450 (Highlights Maximum). Consultation, lightening, gloss, plex treatment, care, cut and styling are always included. A gloss on its own starts from €165. If more work is needed, it can be higher, and we tell you in the consultation beforehand. All prices are in our price list.
